Week 9

It was an unexpectedly short but packed week in first grade!

Chewonki visited with live owls!

We dissected owl pellets in the classroom!  Students used bone charts and their knowledge of owls to figure out what the owl probably ate.

We practiced solving number stories and doubles facts in math.

We got in some more quality reading time with our kindergarten buddies!
